Check out the site and find the scoop on your favorite SC fishing hole! Fishing Report (Updated 8.5.2010) Lake Wateree is at 97.5% of full pool. Catfish: Very good. Captain Rodger Taylor (803-517-7828) reports that he has had some very strong days on the water despite the heat. Some big fish have been caught anchoring up the river, and it appears that those fish are still recovering from the spawn. Down the lake catfish are fat and drifting cut bait is working well.
